Black holes
Black holes are the evolutionary endpoints of stars at least 10 to 15 times as massive as the Sun.Most black holes are formed from the death of large stars (larger than the sun) that run out of fuel and cannot sustain its nuclear reaction.

Dwarf Planets
Though there are just five dwarf planets now, their number is expected to grow.Scientists estimate there may be 70 dwarf planets amongst outer solar system objects that have been discovered already.

Kuiper Belt
The Kuiper Belt is a bit like the asteroid belt, but much farther from the Sun.The planet Pluto is also a Kuiper Belt Object. Starting in 1992, astronomers have become aware of a vast population of small bodies orbiting the sun beyond Neptune.


Worm holes

The universe before the Big Bang

I think the the univeres was just a big blur that had big rocks in it. But I think the Big Bang happen when all the rocks hit as once. Earth was not there at the time, it came along after the big bang. And the Sun was a big gas rock but when they hit it trun into the big yellow sunny Sun.

THE LOVE PLANET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pluto is my favorite planet, because his a outsider. This planet is out on the fear end of our solar system and its alone out in the big dark space. He need someone to like him. If I could I would go stay on Pluto for 4-5 years or so. To me Pluto should be called THE LOVE PLANET, because it look like its a nice place to go to and fall in deeper love with your boyfriend/girlfriend.

The Kuiper Belt

The Kuiper Belt is the 2nd asteroid Belt in the solar system. You can find it beyord Neptune. You can also find PLuto in/near the Kuiper Belt. It contains lumps of icy material with organic compounds. That makes them like comets. Thats a Kuiper Belt.

Monsoons!!!!!!!!!!!

What is a monsoon? Monsoon is a Arabic word "mausim" which means season. Two major factors that cause monsoons? The Bermuda High
the movement northward from winter to summer of the huge upper level subtropical high pressure system. Thermal low the intense heating of the Mohave Desert creates rising air and surface low pressure. Two reasons why monsoons could be considered a good thing. They bring rian fall and cold air. Two negatives of monsoons. Cause a lot of rian fall and can kill us. Why so many people died in India? So many people died, because of heavy rainfall at the end of the monsoon season and floodwaters. Are monsoons good or bad? It's good for us, but also bad for us. Because it can cause floodwater and kill us.

Hurricane Hugo 1989

Hurricane Hugo is a Category 4 hurricane on the Saffer-Simpson scale. It was first detected as a tropical wave emerging from the coast of Africa on September 9, then a tropical depression the next day, a tropical storm on the 11th, and a hurricane on the 13th. Hurricane Hugo had 21 deaths in the mainland United States, five more in Puerto Rico and the U. S. Virgin Islands, and 24 more elsewhere in the Caribbean. This hurricane coats us $7 billion in the mainland United States and $1 billion in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The 4 main types of air masses are mT, mP, cT, & cP. mT is most likely to bring hurricanes, because its mositare & warm. cT is most likely to bring a drought,because its dry & warm. cP bring lake-effect snowstorms. The 2 other air masses I A & H, A=Aritic & H=Highland.

The Greenhouse Effect

"IR" raditation is the earth's surface absorbs the solar energy & releases it back to the atmosphere. The 3 main greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide, methane, & water voper. The greenhouse effect is a good thing for us it keep us safer too.

Recycling: The big Picture

You should recycle glass, because every ton of glass recycled saves the equivalent of 9 gallons of fuel oil needed to make glass from virgin materials. I think its better to recycle then to reuse
things,because recycling-substituting scrap for virgin materials. Its so easy to recycle the any thing you have to is to use your blue recycling rollout cart to collect your recyclables all week long. Then roll your cart out curbside by 7 a.m. on your weekly pickup day. The closes recycling drop-off center to my house is Household Hazardous Waste on Wilkes Rd,923. Here are 9 things plastic can be made into once it has been recycled.Bottles, shower stalls, recycling bins, scouring pads, paint brushes, industrial strapping, drainpipes, and plastic lumber. Here are 5 things metals can be turned into once it has been melted down. Such as cans, automobile parts, siding, appliances and building materials. And things you can do to promote recycling, is go around ask people to give you their plastic & cans to recycle.

The Wild Pacific

The Pacific Ocean's greatest assets is fish, and pearls. The Pacific's oil and gas reserves is playing an ever-increasing role in the energy supplies of Australia, New Zealand, China, the United States, and Peru. Thats alot of things the Pacific does for us, but its more things about the Pacific that you need to know, but I can't tell you all about "The Wild Pacific."

Geology Science

Geology is a word that means "study of Earth". It is divided into two broad areas-Physical geology and Historical geology.Physical geology includes the examination of the materials that make up Earth. Historical geology is to understand Earth's long history. A timeline of the vast number of Physical & Biological changes that have occurred in the past. Also you most understudy Physical geology before unstuding Biological geology, because we most first understand how Earth works before we try to unravelits past.
